Winner of RSRQ prizes and lauréat des journées de la relève en Recherche

Congratulations to Matheus Schultz, PhD student in the lab of Anne-Marie Lauzon, PhD, who is the winner of 2023-2024 RSRQ prizes based on his presentation Protéines régulatrices d’actine et leur impact sur le maintien efficace de la force des muscles lisses / Actin Regulatory Proteins and Their Impact on Smooth Muscle Efficient Force Maintenance. The two prizes are:

  • the prix du public, which is awarded to the best oral presentation selected by the public during the day.
  • the prix de la meilleure présentation de la journée, which is awarded to the best oral presentation selected by a panel of judges. It is based on the quality of the research and of the presentation in general.

Matheus was also named the lauréat des Journées de la relève en Recherche (J2R), based on the quality of his research and the quality of his French oral presentation. He will receive a paid trip to Paris to present at the annual Journée de Recherche Respiratoire (J2R) in France.
