McGill medical cannabis experts teach in Malta

Carolyn Baglole: Director of the McGill Research Centre for Cannabis

Carolyn Baglole, PhD, gave a 30-minute webinar mid-February to dispel some of the myths around using cannabis for medical purposes. Dr. Baglole provided scientific information about the plant and its uses, hoping to encourage conversations that are based on the most up-to-date knowledge available.

Despite the increasing interest in using cannabis for medicinal purposes, a stigma continues to exist.

The purpose of this course is therefore to ensure participants come away with a comprehensive and solid knowledge foundation on cannabis that is based on scientific information.
